Welcome to the Advanced Masonry blog...

We are very excited about our updated web-site and new Blog capabilities and would love to hear from all of you about things we might be doing wrong and need to change or things we are doing right and need to do more of. We encourage your feedback or ways to improve our business and make it a better place for everyone to work.

Thanks,
Mark and Lonnie Rose

I travelled through the Will Rogers airport on Friday and was blown away at the beauty of the stone work! I found your company by using Google to research the type of stone used in the project. I live in Temple, TX and am building a new home here in the Spring. Could you point me toward the stone supplier for the Arkansas stone you used at the Will Rogers airport? I would love to incorporate this stone in my project.

Best regards!

Im building a fire pit and i have access to free field stones. most of them are roundish. I want to build curved benches out of the rocks but im not sure where to start. i dug down 10 inches but pavers in along the bottom and then tamped paver base to the top leaving 2 inches free. i planned on either dry stacking the rocks while mortaring here and there or just puting in concrete blocks and mortaring to a wire mess. i thought the second option might be hard since its a curved bench. then i would just put capstones on top... please help
