First Church
Oklahoma City

This is the event that forced Advanced Masonry to complete this self supporting cast stone entry. The supplier who began the job quit business before its completion. When faced with contractual and moral obligation to complete the church so that they could move back into their facility, which replaced the sanctuary damaged in the Murray building bombing. We not only completed the project but managed to do so on time for the ceremonial reentry to the church on Easter Sunday.In order to accomplish this we had to hire the craftsmen from the previous business. These craftsmen had a combined work experience in the cast stone and architectural precast business of over 100 years. These craftsmen are the foundation on which we built Structural Stone. They are still with us today going stronger than ever.Later, in the second phase of restoration of the original sanctuary Structural Stone was called upon not only to create cast stone to match the 100 year old and weathered limestone pieces, but to create bricks from cast stone to match the color of the special accent brick which could not be found from clay brick sources.

Gaillardia Commercial Office Building 

Our load bearing arches were used on this project to easily create this striking exterior. This was done without the additional cost of engineering and detailing of support steel. Also, this is a beautiful use of cast stone and metal lettering to create an attractive site sign. Structural Stone’s “wet-cast” product makes using cast stone elements much simpler and allows for larger and more functional stone.

University of Tulsa
Law School Addition


This was an ideal project for our “wet cast” stone. It required the window lintel to be structural and carry the weight of the stone veneer and for large flat panels for the stair and elevator sections. On this job we proved that our process could produce a much truer panel stone without the distortions we had always received from “dry-tamped” manufacturers. This was also the first project where we began molding in connection slots and greatly reduced field installation cost.

Oklahoma School of Math and Sciences

Please note the large beams at the entry. These beams are not only on a radius, they are completely self-supported. Taking advantage of our “wet” process, we have included necessary rebar for strength and maintained precise radiuses for inside and outside matching pieces. Also note, at lower wall panels, the rough textured finish to provide a contrasting texture.

Crossings Church, Oklahoma City

This is the job which forced Advanced Masonry to create “Structural Stone”. The large cross with the medallion, which is the focal point of the design, is 11’6” in diameter and we were told could not be economically produced by existing cast stone manufacturers.

O.S.U. Alumni Center

For this project in addition to the copings, banding and keystones we constructed prefabricated brick panels with circular openings cast in our plant and shipped to the site for erection.  The additional columns and walls were all field layed by the mason of Advanced Masonry.

University of Oklahoma Medical Plaza

Here we created Gateway Arches which saved time and money by being complete masonry structures. Also, we were requested to use the sandblasting method to engrave over 4000 letters into both our cast stone and natural stone benches. This engraving offered an excellent way to honor the individuals who contributed to the creation of this beautiful park area.

St. Marks Catholic Church

Here the Architect created crosses in the accent detailing and special stone medallions to enhance his design. Although some of these details presented some challenges for our molding staff, once again they rose to the task.

Oklahoma Arts Museum

This project required us to install an Indiana Limestone veneer to match the existing material on the Centre Theater along with cast stone feature elements.
