Safety Program at Advanced Masonry

Our Commitment to Your Safety

Hazards and safety challenges exist on all job sites. Safety challenges and hazards can cause severe injury, illness, or even death. Mishaps can also lead to missed deadlines, first aid and medical expenses, and downtime, which diminishes your profitability. Advanced Masonry, Inc. requires various training to help you protect your safety. The following highlight some of the safety concerns, not all-inclusive, to which our workers should pay particular interest.

  • Improperly secured scaffolding and ladders
  • Electricity and electrical equipment
  • Compressed gas cylinders
  • Motorized equipment

Our teams consisting of field staff, foreman, superintendents, and management that visit job sites; are required to meet our Safety Policies within the Safety Program. Policies include 10 and 30-hour OSHA training, Selected members of our job site teams receive training and certificate on forklifts, scaffolding, and boom lifts.

INSURICA

As part of our successful establishment of our Safety Program, our partnership with INSURICA®, and partnering with OSHA (The Occupational Safety and Health Administration), Advanced Masonry, Inc. continues our assurance of safety and healthful working conditions in our workplace and on at the job sites. INSURICA’s safety agent of record is John Schlarb.

John Schlarb has been practicing industrial safety since receiving a degree in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1999. He has received and maintains OSHA’s HAZWOPER 40-hour certification. His areas of expertise include, but not limited to, Construction/Demolition, Accident Investigations, and Safety Training and Education.
